I too am shocked at the Rise of the management fee particularly after being told that the steam shower wouldn't be replaced when it broke because "they are not used". Who decided this? I bought early in the development and I have watched as the quality and finish of my holiday home has deteriorated along with tasteless and wasteful expenditure of some public areas and no one seems to be accountable. My emails to Fisherbeck are knocked back including one with the offer of a free interior design service to actually allow owners to retain the stylish interiors we all bought. I did not chose dark wood and cheap Upolstery so why replace items with it? I have been unable to find out who chooses the New design but from conversations, staff on site have clearly at times had input. Underscar was originally designed by a first class international design company and now I am subjected to someone else's taste or lack of, in view of the rising costs, reduced facilities and cheap fittings this is unacceptable.

After reading the breakdown of the management fees the question has to be asked. This cannot represent value for money

To me, the key problem is that no-one on site has any vested interest in what’s going on. They are all employed by Fisherbeck who get paid regardless, and there are no alternative management/ownership structures being looked at. I asked about this at the AGM and it wasn’t even minuted! Without a UOCL management presence on site, this will get worse and worse. A manager employed by the owners and accountable to them directly would, I hope, bring improvements in both how Underscar appears and be less expensive
