Steam generators

A few educative questions ….is the steam generator in any apartment faulty? How many are faulty? If so what are the costs associated with replacement per apartment?
Are steam generators a necessity given the 5 star status?
Do they generate additional maintenance costs and if so what are those annual costs? What guarantees do they come with?
Is the upgrade of bathroom compromised in any way by continued use of the existing steam generator, if not faulty?
Do the majority of owners use the steam generators or are they rarely used?
From an eco perspective are the new replacement models eco friendly and more cost efficient to run or they now considered energy wasteful?
Some might suggest that there are other priorities to a potential extravagance in addition to an existing effective power shower.

This raises the general question of how decisions should be made and at what point the Board should consult. Very few things (any?) are opened for consultation. And yes, I’d rather keep the steam generator!

Agreed. They represent the 5* element. Who wants to trudge down to the one in Oxleys after a hard day’s walking and then find there are no spaces

The question was that the decision not to replace steam rooms and steam generators should be decided at the AGM
