Underscar is set in an idyllic location, nestling under the sheltered slopes of the mighty Skiddaw, looking out over Keswick and Derwentwater. This 19th Century coach house and walled gardens have been beautifully transformed to create 25 5-star luxury holiday homes. Imaginative design gives an Italianate feel, with courtyard gardens, tumbling streams, waterfalls and fountains. The lush planting and terraced pathways give a feel of Tuscany in the Lakes, where you’ll experience birdsong, red squirrels and peace.

All apartments are designed to enjoy views out and over to Derwentwater.

Our guests have unlimited use of the on-site leisure club with gym, pool, sauna & jacuzzi. The Spa is here for your pampering & beauty needs with our friendly, experienced therapists.  We also have the on-site bistro available for light-bites or a drink.

If you love to cook, all the apartments have fully equipped designer kitchens, where you can prepare your food and eat al fresco on the balcony or terrace.  You’ll find delicious Cumbrian produce on your travels into Keswick at our fabulous local shops.
